Tuesday Finds & Such
A walk through the mulched fields during the day had me find fascinating things—some white fungi, for instance. Thanks to the generous rains, which may have had something to do with the mushrooms' growth. According to Google Lens, these are poisonous. I'm not sure if it is correct, though, since the app can misidentify things at times.

Just like how it identified the one below as a young shaggy mushroom in the first scan. On the second try, it said it's a Spiny Puffball mushroom. I didn't do a third check, though. It might say a different thing. LOL!
But yeah, this is pretty interesting. I was tempted to pull it off the ground to examine it, but I stopped myself since I didn't know if it was safe to touch. Thought I might visit it again in a few days to check it for any changes.
Coming into the yard, my eyes caught a vague yet nice reflection of a tree branch and the piled hollow blocks. Rainwater has accumulated in a cement bucket that we used weeks ago. I was thinking of sharing this on the SMARP initiative in the Shadow Hunters community, but it's just one photo, so not this time.
The thunder roared around 1 pm, then heavy rain and some winds followed. It went on for two hours, drenching everything in the open. When it stopped, the sun peeked through the clouds, coloring the horizon with warmer hues.
The hubby and I took the chance to reconcile records, cross-checking receipts, and such. Three of the boys are getting paid soon, and we have to finalize things. I was chuffed that the Farmboy is finally learning to do basic accounting, so yay!😅
Anyway, it's my Slothly Savings day (doing it early) this time, for week 17 specifically.

HIVE savings have grown by 80, which is consistent with the previous week. HBD balance remained the same, but it's okay with me. I actually thought of active trading in the internal market and keeping any gains in HBD, but dismissed it because of the frequent distractions.
So that's just about it for today. It's been quite productive and satisfying. Thankful much!
Ah staying productive during the rain. Most things I do on the productivity side are indoors but I REALLY have to get out and get the yard and garden in shape. May flowers are surely on the way here and I have seen some mushrooms pop up in my forest walks. I will have to remember to take some pics with more rain today.
