Sweet Delights, Rain & Such
The hubby had a quick drive to the other town yesterday afternoon for the truck's clutch thingy. He said he could replace the rubber himself, so off he went after lunch, with our Lil boy, who was excited to wear his harness and join his Dada. Alas, he no longer sticks with me all the time.
They came back a little over two hours later with a box of freshly baked buko (coconut) pie and a tub of Ginataang Bilo-Bilo (a traditional dessert soup made with glutinous rice balls, bananas, sweet potatoes, and tapioca pearls in coconut milk). We enjoyed both as our mid-afternoon snack, finishing only the bilo-bilo and havinh a slice each of the pie because they are very sweet.

Meanwhile, we woke up a little while ago to rains brought by typhoon Francisco. Forecasts indicate it will be mostly wet over the next seven days. No morning walks for me, yikes!
The power went out around midnight. The sensitive transformer nearby is usually the cause and the power company seems unbothered, even when they had to send one or two of their men to manually switch it on every time it shuts off.
So, it appears we would be having a really lazy Wednesday. Or maybe not! The storage racks need assembling and many more things undone😅
Anyhow, it's Slothly Saver's Day for me on-chain, and on checking, 60 HIVE was added in the week, ending week 25 with 1222.
| YE Goal | Current Balance | Last Week | Growth (+ / -) | To Go | Note | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| HIVE | 2000 | 1222 | 1162 | 60 | 778 | - |
| HBD | 200 | 32.04 | 32.04 | - | - | |
I was going to sell them yesterday at 0.0525, but my swap didn't go and the price quickly fell below 5 cents. I wasn't swift enough, haha! Didn't I say I'd actively trade on the internal market to increase them? Oh well, maybe next time😁

Ohh, there m's a typhoon nga pala, I forgot, umuulan samin now eh. And that buko Pie, ang tagap na last kain ko nyan 😰🤤🤤🤤🫠
Oo daw sis, si Francisco. Buti na lang konting ulan ang dala today.
Super tamis nung buko pie, pero inubos na namin kanina😂
Thanks a lot🥰
Ahh coconut cake, I love them!
There is a street here that every summer has power issues, company never bothers to upgrade the infrastructure lol so people stay without electricity for a while every week
The pie is a delight to the taste buds😉
It seems every place has its own certain challenges, and power outage is one of them😂
Are you trading to increasing your HIVE? Or you are selling and holding stablecoins.

Would love to trade to increase the HIVE and perhaps hold some stablecoins too. What's your strategy this time?
I wait for big pump to sell and rebuy some when price drops. The remaining stays in stablecoins. Additionally 50% of my post rewards are converting into HP.
Rainy season na ulit. Ulan din Doon SA Amin. Malakas din pero Hindi pa nman Ng brown out😬. Sarap Ng foods mo, match SA Ulan.
Oo nga sis, time na naman ng typhoons at ulan. Scheduled maintenance pala kaya brownout sa whole town hehe. Bumalik naman afternoon kahapon.
Hive's latest VEST dump saga is a damn circus, all hype and zero hustle. Folks act like a few whales shaking the market is some gospel, but the streets know it’s just pump‑and‑dump theater. 🧨💸 I’m calling out @peakd for still bragging about “innovation” while the core community scrapes for real engagement. The NFT hype? Same old flash, no substance—just more noise for the bots. If you’re still buying the hype, you’re playing with paper hands. Time to cut the fluff, get back to solid posts, and let the real creators run the block. Agree or nah?
