Mid-Week, Mid-Month [Week 15]

It's midweek, and we are also halfway through the month, whew! The hubby took another trip to the capital. Yongi and I stayed and are having another lazy day here in DD. Movies (yesterday was music), food, snooze, whatever, lol!

Kidding aside, it's a nice chance to have a slow day, especially since it is windy outside. It is good though, as the breeze helps regulate the scorching heat. The weather we have now is totally different from what we were used to in the past years. There hasn't been any rain, which is odd since it usually rains around the middle of March, indicating it's time to prepare for the first cropping season of the year.

A cousin was worried. "I just don't know what to do if the dry season persists and were to extend until August, as some forecasts say," she lamented. "Oh well, we will still live," I said half-jokingly. But yes, the water levels in rivers are way too low; some have even dried up. Some fields remain brown (yet to be tilled), since most farmlands lack irrigation systems.

The truth is, I couldn't shake off the feeling that we could lose our water source here in DD if the sky doesn't cry soon. But maybe this is how nature heals. So we will wait patiently and adapt.

Anyway, before week 15th on the Slothly Savers calendar passes, let me do a quick recap of my savings (had to adjust my posting day to catch up, as I had been doing it wrong in the first quarter, lol).

Added 74 HIVE in the last seven days. Almost halfway through, yay! I know my target does not seem challenging enough, but we will set another once we cross off the initial goal. That's the beauty of setting a realistic amount. Not much pressure, as we can work on it at our own pace. Slowly, but surely, they say :)

Here's to a fabulous hump day!

Smile... laugh often... love more... be grateful always!

Wind is very annoying, I also don't like to be outside with it tbh

I guess if it's too dry you gotta seed something else?

Yes the water level is very low and my plant are changing colours despite the fact that I water them every single day. I don't like this weather, but who are my to complain? We move and keep praying for rain.

Your savings, you are doing great.👍👍👍
