I've had cellulitis before and that stuff does not mess around. I spent 4 days in the hospital in my particular case. It originated in my thumb and had spread up my arm almost to my elbow.
I can just imagine how painful having it in your jaw would be! I recently had a tooth pulled and was thinking I was heading down that road, but it did right itself.
So sorry you've had to go through this. Hopefully, the new meds will eradicate the infection. Please take care! !LADY

It is quite painful. luckily it does seem to be receding. Bonkers they wouldn't treat it. I am glad you recovered. !BBH !UNI !PIXY
I know you told me once before what part of the country you're in, but I've forgotten, lol. Anyway, it's incredible that they don't respect the fact that you have a situation and just blow you off. I don't get how they can live with themselves......after all they took an oath to help and try to heal people--that means ALL people!
