Stardom Play - Always check for Cards on Sell

I use NFTMart to purchase individual cards to add to my collection for the game Stardom Play and a lot of other games as well. I have found this site very useful for obtaining additional cards.

Adding Fans

I am in the process of adding Fans so that I can unlock the next mission level - TV Commercial Shoot. It requires 750 Fans to unlock and I have 470 Fans. I try to only get additional cards from that weeks earnings so it is a slow process but one that I am having a lot of fun with.

This week when I did my calculations to see which cards offered the most fans per Stardom tokens, I noticed the TC 7 Motorcycle was for sale for only 2000 Stardom tokens. This calculates out to 80 Stardom per Fan since the card has 25 Fans.

In prior weeks, the cheapest ratio was around 95 and most of the times over 100 Stardom tokens per fan. I was very surprised to see a card on sell for only 80 Stardom per fan.

I had remaining from last week 123 Stardom tokens and I had earned this week another 1851 Stardom tokens providing me with 1974 Stardom tokens to use for purchases.

I was short by 26 Stardom tokens to make the purchase that would save me around 25 Stardom tokens per Fan compared to prior weeks. Normally I would only spend what I had earned and since I would be saving more than that amount I decided that I should go ahead and get the additional 26 Stardom tokens to make the purchase.

FOMO Hit Me

I guess I started FOMO'ing because there were two additional cards of the TC 7 Motorcycle on the market for that same price (2000 Stardom Tokens each). Most times the market moves fast and there is no telling how long these would stay for sale on the market. Since I had never seen the cards this cheap, FOMO hit me and I bought more Stardom Tokens to cover the 4000 that it would cost me to get the two remaining cards on the market.

I am usually very level headed and FOMO normally does not impact me at all but I must have just been in that state where I could not resist. I think I will need to watch out for this in the future as I do not want FOMO to become a habit I fall into. LOL
