Greetings Sloth Savers people!
What a difference a week makes.
One week ago there had just been a huge bombshell with the hive-engine being hacked and losing a considerable amount of money. HELIOS was using the Solana that got hacked so the delegated HP no longer got a return and much of the @helios.voter upvote power was removed. That essentially cut the curation power in half.
It looked bleak
but
A new week gives a new outlook.
HELIOS is diminished in power but still a pretty good curation tool for the GLD community. Not as good as it was but still quite reasonable. In addition to HELIOS still working as before its token price rebounded considerably from 0.250 to 0.95 so almost 4x its previous price in only a week. WOW.
So, things didn't go quite as expected but they weren't bad either.
Hive Power
Went from 83% to 91% in one week. 8% increase and only 9% left to go. Will next week be the week that I finally crack my 700HP goal? Probably not. Upvotes from helios.voter are weaker and I wasn't able to post every day last week means I'm going to come up a little short.
So close but not quite there,
Still... Slow and steady wins the race and I'll get there soon enough.
HELIOS
Yeah, things didn't go as planned with HELIOS.
One week ago with HELIOS sitting way down at 0.25 my goal of 1000 HELIOS looked possible. With it rebounding to close to parity with HIVE? It looks a lot more difficult. I did place orders when it was really low but they never closed. The price just rebounded too quickly.
I'm happy that my 238 HELIOS went way up in value but a little sad that I wasn't able to add more this week.
GLD Held
GLD was my go-to investment this week. Mostly because it is really easy for me to exchange with the GLD trade bot. Yeah, I know it hasn't been released to the public yet but it is there, I am testing it, it does work. When I'm pressed for time I just do a quick "sell" to the bot and know that my GLD is coming and will make me a better return weekly and be linked to what has historically been the more stable asset, HBD.
Increased my holdings in GLD by about 340 so I'm pretty happy with that.
FIAT Investments
Now I finally have enough GLD to purchase FIAT investments. However, I was really busy in Spain and doing a bunch of sightseeing. Plus I was working on getting the GLD and the GLS token bots ready for release. After that I'll get the NFT bot going and trading GLD for FIAT linked NFTs will become a whole lot easier. Looking forward to that, but at the moment... nothing new from last week.
EDSI tokens
50 tokens has been surpassed so I didn't purchase anything here at this time. Once I meet my other goals are met I may start being more aggressive with purchasing more EDSI but at the moment... I held off. Even if it was below its soft peg of 1 EDSI : 1 Hive.

Stay active.
Same goal as last week but I'm in different places. I'm in Edinburgh for the next 48 hours then flying back to Canada. Then work, work, work. However, when I'm at home I can usually get into a better routine. Maybe finish off the GLD website so I can purchase some FIAT like investments. Maybe get thoe monthly dividends brought back into hive from CRO and from DIVIDEND stocks.
No guarantees but...
... I'm working on things and someday they will all get worked out.

I still have a long way to go
HELIOS: Looking good but getting expensive and I'm still watching.
Offchain: Enough GLD available but waiting for the infrastructure to catch up :)
EDSI: Goal reached so its on hold for now
HP: Growing with each post so have to stay active posting
GLD: Will purchase more this week because its easy but overall qty may go down if I spend it on other investments.
...and I have time. It's not a race.
