Now that you start pondering over it, I do vaguely remember DBuzz having a blog option in the past. I love the vibrant Hive communities scene, and that's why I agree with your take on spam. But on the other hand, we also need to engage more. So... are we thinking of going invisible? !HBIT

You know, I think there's a fine line between marketing/engaging and spam. It's not always obvious where that line is either, and it changes from person to person. I enjoy shorts; I occasionally engage with the 'spammy' good mornings or game update posts. Heck, I rely on Hive Grove posts to remind me to go water my trees.
Maybe it's just the way the posts come in the feed; sometimes there are no 'spammy' posts, other times it feels like 5 in a row, and it makes me not want to engage with shorts at all. I'm sure a better balance will come over time, especially if more users engage and use short-form!
