Weekly #slothlysavers overview - Wk6 - 👉 slow steps, small gains, still moving forward
TLDR: small gains again this week. Recovery is still the main job. Real job hunt is the second job. Hive is running in slow mode, but it’s running. Walking is slowly coming back. Health first, stacking second.
New week, new savings update
Another week, another #SlothlySavers update.
And once again, we’re in “incremental mode”. Not explosive. Not dramatic. Just small, stubborn progress while life insists on being… life.
Recovery update first, because that’s the real headline
Let’s be honest: the main project right now is not Hive. It’s not Fiat. It’s not L2 tokens.
It’s recovery.
I’m not crying in a corner from pain (ok maybe a tiny bit dramatic sometimes), but it’s mostly tiredness, immobility, and those lovely occasional reminders from my body that surgery is not a minor software update. It’s more like a full hardware intervention.
The good news: I slowly started walking again.
From averaging below 1000 steps per day, I’m now crawling my way back above 5000 steps on some days. That may sound ridiculous compared to my usual 10k–15k baseline, but this is how rebuilding works. One painfully normal walk at a time.
Actifit posts are slowly coming back as well. Not because I’m chasing tokens. But because movement is part of the recovery strategy.
Health first. Everything else follows.

Professional reality check
Parallel to that, the job situation is now very real.
My current project will end before summer. Which means I’m actively looking for something new. Interviews, conversations, scanning opportunities, all of it.
Let’s not sugarcoat it. If no replacement is found by then, savings will take a hit. Not just in Fiat. Also in Hive.
Because discipline is nice, but income still matters.
In my opinion, it’s dangerous to pretend crypto replaces cashflow overnight. It doesn’t. Not yet. Definitely not at current prices.
So this phase is about keeping optionality alive.
Hive progress this week
Now let’s zoom in on the numbers.
Hive Power moved from: 16,851 → 16,940
Weekly goal was ambitious at 594 HP. Weekly achieved: 89 HP.
Not great on paper.
But context matters. When your physical energy is capped, your financial aggression probably should be too.
HBD held steady at 1,640, but will increase in less then 2 weeks due to interests.
Second layer crept forward again:
DUO: 1,134 → 1,136
BBHO: 12,497 → 12,550
BEE: 721 → 724
No fireworks. No moonshots. Just quiet compounding.
And honestly? That’s ok!

The bigger picture
This is a stabilization and rebuild phase, not a growth sprint phase.
Body rebuilding. Career recalibrating. Hive quietly compounding in the background.
If there’s one thing I’m learning again, it’s this: progress is not always about acceleration. Sometimes it’s about not collapsing while under load.
And we’re not collapsing.
Slowly I’ll come back into it all. Slowly engagement will increase. Slowly posts will become more frequent. Slowly the step counter will climb back to normal territory.
For now?
Health first. Stability second. Stacking third.
The sloth is still moving. Just at sloth speed. And that’s perfectly fine.
