Moth hanging out

I experimented with some different brushes in procreate for this one but esp for the fuzzy effect which I think really worked. I adore fuzzy moths. They make me happy. I wish I could cuddle them but between them being both tiny and delicate that's just not a real thing that can happen. Alas. Stupid reality.

First the sketch.

Then the leaf. I'm not sure if I quite managed to get the light from behind making it look glowing effect but I think it looks pretty good.

Then I did the background. Since the moth is white I needed a background for it to not just blend into the default white background.

from there getting the moth in was pretty quick.

I really enjoyed adding the fuzz.

From there it was just a matter of tweaking the background a bit then adding little details.
