Valkyria Chronicles [Let's Play] - 45 - Finale: On The Gallian Front

Valkyria Chronicles is a Turn-Based Strategy game set in a fantasy world based on World War II. The story follows Squad 7 of the Gallian Army, as they push back against the Empire threatening to invade their land. It's an anime-style war story, with a lot of heart!
I love this game's presentation. The storybook frame around every scene, the water-colors filter on top of 3D models. The way the story is predented if it's a History Book! It's originally a PS3 game, but it has better animations & presentations compared to modern games in 2025. Playing it is a treat for me, and I hope watching my playthrough would be a treat for you too.

We finally beat Maximilian...
After knowing he lost, he decided to use the Flame of Valkyria to Nuclear Bomb the whole area. Still, the device stopped, and it turns out Faldio was working behind the scene to stop the engine...
Then Faldio grabs Maximilan and takes him out with himself. They both die as Maximilian device explodes. The flame got so big, even Welkin and Alicia got seperated from the rest of the squad.
Luckily, our friends came to save us with a Plane. An airplane designed by Isara, and worked on by Leon after her death. Welkin asks Leon to take them to their home, now free of the Empire!
The ending was so cute! It shows how everyone's life changed after the war. Welkin and Alicia got married, and the narrator of the story turned out to be the same journalist, Irene that followed Squad 7 throughout the game!
