The First Tree is a narrative game about dealing with grief. The protagonist narrates his dream about a female fox looking for her children, while exploring his past with his father. Going through various stages of life, from childhood to becoming a parent himself.

While The First Tree technically fits the Walking Simulator genre, the game contains enough platforming, and collecting aspects to it. The narration, which is the main point of the game, is very emotional. I found myself engaged the whole time. I finished this game in one day.
