Let's Play "Spec Ops: The Line" - 01 - Operation in Dubai
"This is Colonel John Konrad, United States Army. Attempted evacuation of Dubai ended in complete failure. Death toll... too many."
Spec Ops the Line is a third-person shooter from my backlog. The game is set after the worst series of sandstorms in Dubai, and the following evacuating efforts by Colonel Konrad. After a message of the evacuation's failure, the game story follow's the Delta Team that was sent on mission to retrieve survivors. The protagonist Martin Walker, and his two team members, Adams and Lugo. They find situation there has already descended into complete chaos!

I played Spec Ops the Line in 'Easy Mode' and I enjoyed it enough to play through the whole campaign. The game has a few twists, and two important moments come to my mind when I think of it. I loved the ending, and this article series will contain videos of my playthrough for the main campaign.

I haven’t played Spec Ops: The Line yet, even though I’ve had it sitting in my Epic library for a while, but your post definitely makes me want to give it a try. The way you describe the atmosphere, the twists, and the overall tone of the campaign gives a good sense of why the game left such an impact on you. I’ll check out your playthrough to get a feel for it before diving in myself.
Nice, it's short too. So may as well give it a try. I didn't expect the final twist of this game and apparently your choices matter but since I only played once, I don't know how...
Playing it on easy mode and still feeling like the experience is worth it says a lot about the game’s focus. It doesn’t rely only on difficulty to hit hard, but on what the story shows you.
True, or maybe I just suck at shooter games, so easy mode was just enough challenge for me.
