Jesus doesn't mean Zeus. Jesus is the Greek form of the Hebrew name Joshua. In Hebrew the meaning of the name Joshua is: Jehovah is generous. Jehovah saves.
I think his original name Was Yeshua which would better translate as Messiah. Names had meanings in biblical times so I think we should stay with what the names meant.

All them names is just something to occupy your time so that you dont catch on to the trick.
That's an interesting book. I think names were important back in biblical times and we can do a better job of translating at least those.
