Losing your father is a poignant experience, especially so young, and with such distance many fathers affect our recollections can elude a sense of closure. My sincere condolences.

Twenty years on in a year's time. I try to propel whatever love a man has reserved for an absent father toward my friends, and direct it toward my in-laws, who are all still roaming about, and are incredibly lovely, cherished human beings.
