I have a theory. The honey counter is somehiw unreliable on android. It misled me into thinking that I have balance to buy a pricier bee but in reality I had about half of that amount. And reloading the page did not help in that either.

Thought I'd noticed that myself a few rounds back, but couldn't repeat it. Will have the dev look into everything and double-check. Thanks for letting us know.
On android the page does not reload if it's not used for a few hours. That can confuse the frontend js. But does not explain why the page reload does not help.
