I like the poem.
Reminds me of the time someone in the small town I lived in cut a very important internet backbone cable with a backhoe in the 90s. I think they said something like $7M an hour it was down.
As an aside, I give you credit, I couldn't write under pressure like that, at all, no matter the time limit.

I used to work telecommunications. Some of the repair bills for cut lines near exchanges or points of interconnect were wild, only in terms of the hours techs had to spend, let alone compensation to customers and co-located services.
