RE: The Funny Thing About Time...

It makes me wonder whether this whole "time relativity" thing has to do with where we are in our stage in life.

Of course that all this has something to do with where we are in our stage in life.

Have you ever lived through or had an experience where time truly and literally stops? And when I say it stops, I mean that time absolutely freezes while you are awake and engaged in a pretty serious activity. And you only realize how much time has actually passed when you look at the clock after you've finished that quite serious activity you were doing. Which could easily have been about four or five hours?

For example, it happened to me many times when I visited my first girlfriend from my teenage years at her house almost 100 years ago, and once there we would settle in her living room to uncontrollably unleash all the fury and fire of our youth passion, kissing, hugging, and caressing each other nonstop while we had already previously put on a stack of LP records on those old record players of the time to listen them together...

And can you believe that four or five hours later after arriving there, and only when her mom was yelling from the other side of the house to her that it was already time for me to leave. It was only then when I truly realized that five hours had already passed and for the life of me, I couldn't remember not a single one of the songs that had supposedly been playing while I was there?
