NEEDLEWORK: KEYCHAIN CONVERSE SHOES 1 1/2" - CROCHET PATTERN PART 1

Hello everybody,

Make this cutie converse shoes keychain for giveaways, happy visitors receiving this, gifts they can't forget.

Skill level: Easy - this project use basic and repetitive stitches, colour change, simple shaping and finishing.
Must concentrate with counting of stitches.

Materials needed:
3 ply cotton yarn, I used monaco mercerized cotton on this project - white, black and red. scissor, tapestry needle and tissue paper.

Crochet hook: I used silver hook #7 or 1.75mm

Gauge: 4 single crochet = 1/2"

Stitches used:
CH - chain
SC - single crochet
HDC - half double crochet
DC - double crochet
EDC CL - extended double cluster by 3

I crocheted this by making the sole, hi-cut body, front flap, the shoe lace, embroider the lines and the logo.

Pattern:

Round(R) 1: With white, CH 9, 1 SC in 2nd CH from hook, plus 2 SC in same stitch(st), 1 SC in each next 2 st, 1HDC in each 2 st, 1 DC in each 2 st, 6 DC in last CH, 1 DC in each next 2 st or fronting the DC previously made, 1HDC in each 2 st, 1SC in each 2st, 2 SC in last st, join with Slip Stitch into the first SC made, CH 2 (23)

R2: 1 SC in each 2 SC, 1 SC in each 6 next sts, 2 HDC in each 6 DC, 1 HDC in each 6 st, 1 HDC in each 2 SC, join with slip stitch into 2nd CH of first CH 2, CH 2 (28)

Body:
R1: 1 SC in each 28 st all around, slip st into 2nd CH of first CH 2, CH 2
R2: 1SC in next st, skip 1 SC, 1SC in each 24 SC, skip 1SC, 1SC in next or last SC, slip st into 2nd CH of first CH 2, pull yarn cut about 1 1/2 ", weave ends. (26)

This was supposed to be posted yesterday for #needleworkmonday but I must perfect the keychain production for I need to make 96pcs, must be ship by 1st week of april. Hmm, days run fast.
