The Support From Minnow-ASAP Has Started. (Let Me Know What You Think!)
The Minnow-ASAP Project has recently started and I'm glad to announce that we have filled 4 out of 5 spots for this *2-week long community push. Each user that's listed on the Minnow-ASAP support list, will be there for 14 days in total. I have just powered up 5 Steem to each user, as announced in the official post, and I will send 5 SBI shares to each user next week. For the remainder of the time, I will continue to upvote one article per day, at 100%.
As it is difficult to track growth due to support, I will not be able to include support from others, if information about that specific support has been shared in the Minnow-ASAP articles. @blacklux is a good example of a user who has shared what they have done for these individuals, and can therefore be mentioned in future articles.

However, it is not mandatory to share what you do, and even if you don't share what you're doing, your support obviously counts and means as much as the support from others.
I know that several users have been upvoting content from these awesome Steemians I have decided to push, but this is even more tricky to track, so I will not be able to show you any statistics from that.
*New spots will be available after 2 weeks, as we will put our main focus on other users every two-weeks. Any of the Steemians that find themselves below the target of 500 Steem Power or who has not reached the level to be eligible support from other minnow-making initiatives will still get continuous support from @hitmeasap until they reach minnowhood or has become eligible support from other initiatives.

What Type Of News Are You Talking About?
I won't reveal too much at this point, as it is still early stage and it might not be that much of a change that I am hoping for... To give you an idea and to reveal something about it: One of the things is that I am looking into the possibilities of leasing Steem Power, which would have a huge impact on my upvote value. This would also rapidly increase the growth of the Minnow-ASAP users, and it could potentially let me open up even more slots, so that we could increase our current limit of 5 users. This would rapidly improve the entire project and give us a good opportunity to strengthen our middle class quickly.
I am also looking into the possibilities of adding different prizes and/or bonuses for various things, to encourage and grow users even further. Right now, I'm looking at both hidden and official bonuses, but I am also looking into different possibilities to attract more eyeballs towards the Minnow-ASAP project. For instance, some sort of prize for a Resteem etc. That would help us to grow the entire project, and more people would be able to participate and become involved in this. That being said, I have several ideas and I'm looking into multiple things to improve Minnow-ASAP.

I did the thingy cause not everyone noticed when someone send them sbi shares, also to keep track of who I sent the sbi shares so I don't mess later... I'm very clueless so I need some reminders! ahahah
Today I sent sbi shares to another of the selected fishies and soon I'll send to the rest. Building a strong community is important, thanks for helping the little ones!

I'm super happy to be one of the "subjects" of this initiative, and plan to do as much as I can through my own efforts... interacting, curating content, and leaving lots of comments. Whether I actually make it to Minnowhood, or not, it's certainly very inspirational to be included.

And that's the reason for Minnow-ASAP. That's the goal I have in mind. If we're able to inspire, encourage or motivate users, they would ultimately: put in more effort, feel good about themselves and what they're doing, and that would result in a feeling of meaningfulness.
Ultimately, they would interact/engage even more because of that, so it's one large circle of positivity. Which obviously would have a great impact on STEEM in the long haul.
