RE: I Saw a Sacred Balinese Ritual Yesterday—and a Young Woman Was Leading It

I am happy to be able to take you to my uncle's home through this piece of writing. I have read that certain traditions in various regions are gradually disappearing because fewer young people are willing to learn and practice them.

I truly hope that we in Bali can continue to preserve our ancestral traditions for generations to come.

Thank you @ekads, and thanks for the tip! 🙏

I share your hope with all my heart. Bali has something that much of the world has lost: traditions that are still alive and part of everyday life, not just shown in museums or to tourists. As long as there are young people like that dalang who choose to learn them with devotion, they'll stay alive. 🌸

And people like you who tell these stories help too: when a young person reads about a tradition and feels proud of it, the first step toward preserving it has already been taken. Keep sharing them! ✨

Grazie @ekads, e grazie per il tip! 🙏

Continua a condividerle! ✨

Many thanks for your kind words. I really appreciate it.

Btw, do you know how to embed a video from 3speak? I tried embedding a short video of that dalang performing from 3speak, but it seems to have failed.
