I remember @savvytester doing some testing here on Hive a few weeks ago, where they discovered that if a comment here on Hive is "deleted" (more precisely just hidden on the blockchain) and another comment with the same permlink is published, the comment is "restored" along with all its edit history (including the "deleted" comment itself). 🤓

I hope that you don't mind the "digital archaeology" (which I was careful to do only under your own original post)! 😅

I think that the "deleted" flag on a comment is ignored when that comment is only part of a newer version that comment's history !INDEED. 🤔🤯🤓
