just done ours too... both of us got new ones. normally we do the "pass along" computers, however this time a kid got mine. :-) i had like 1.2GB left of free space... lol. I collect computer files the same way i collect shoes... never ending.
interesting about prices... but thats everything these days. we got ptetty good specs as husband likes to play the flight simulator games as well. (i like city builders) they need pretty decent up to date graphics cards...

Oh, have you played Against the Storm, if you like city / colony games? Its SO GOOD.
no not played that one... ill check it out... i get a bit addicted to them and stay for ages. so much advanced since AOE, i played a middle ages one for ages, and then one set in rome.. and then good ole sim city... and now the big city builders... so good...
It has unforgiving difficulty at times, but it is so engaging, immersive, and challenging.
The recent release of Age of Mythology Retold was something I also enjoyed thoroughly. So many awesome quality of life features that make older strategy games feel incredibly dated.
husband played that, i didn't though. one of my crazy little tiny favs was The guild, or Europa 1400 or even Anno 1404? SUPER old now. we did a lot of WOW... it was the only way i got to see my fiance lol... (though that is certainly not a city/strat game... there are so many these days. I got cities skylines, but waiting to get the IInd one as i hear its still not up to par with the first AND the grahpics card.
OMG ive just googled the guild, and ive just seen they are bringing out a new one right now!! i might have to check it out!
I am not likely to look any of these up, as I already have a far too large back catalogue of games. An impossible one!
