RE: Garden Journal - Bumper Hazelnut Crop

The time-consuming hard-work bit is shelling them. I've got a heavy duty nutcracker that can do 4-5 in a go, but it still takes most of an evening per bowl full. They're oily if we grind them before roasting, but once they are roasted my wife has a Sujata grinder that is so powerful it could probably turn bricks to flower in seconds 😁 But I hadn't thought about hazelnut spread.... thank you for a great idea !
