entry reflections 247

it's getting colder and a thin layer of ice forms when the water is still, only to thaw when the temperature rises a little or the waves break up the ice as warmer water from below mixes in with the surface. though the harbor is on the ocean, a layer of fresh river water floats on top of the denser salt water so the harbor freezes surprisingly quickly when there is little wave action to bring the salt water to the surface

here the footbridge over the entrance to the inner harbor is nicely reflected on the not quite still water and also on the newly formed ice. this is nice enough but not my contest entry.

there's a restaurant with a glass facade facing the harbor. my entry photo is a reflection of the harbor in that glass. the inside of the restaurant is partially visible through the glass, creating an image that resembles a double exposure but the real double is the reflection of the bridge, first on the water then again in the window. on the right there's a glass door inside the restaurant that is reflecting a different scene from the harbor on top of what is being reflected on the facade window creating acomplex and totally confusing image, perhaps more technically interesting than pretty

Thank you for the idea, dear @eolianpariah2 ❤️, I had also had it in mind, but decided it's too long.
What do you think about #smarp (Show Me A Reflection Picture) or #smarph (Show Me A Reflection Photo)? Both are easier to print as a tag and they would also refer to #smash.
